IRWINDALE, Calif. (KABC) -- A chase ended Wednesday morning when a suspect abandoned an RV on railroad tracks in Irwindale before being apprehended by sheriff's deputies, authorities said.
According to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Department, the deputies responded after the owner of the RV called to say they were following the vehicle after it was stolen.
The RV was towing a trailer, which became dislodged from the RV sometime before the suspect got out near the 210 Freeway at Irwindale Avenue and attempted to flee on foot.

The RV and the trailer remained on the tracks at separate locations as of 8 a.m.
